Refund Policy

 At CAKED , I take pride in all of my products. All of my baked products are fresh and perishable, therefore cannot be refunded or exchanged unless they are of an unsatisfactory quality or if you have received the wrong item.
Please inspect and  make sure you are happy with the condition of your order as soon as you collect your order or receive your delivery. If you are unhappy please let me  know by email info@caked.ie with your order number within 48 hours. Please provide me  with as much information and evidence (photographs) possible so that i can evaluate and rectify the issue promptly.

Refund Policy – Custom Cake

At CAKED, I take great pride in all the products I create. All custom cakes are freshly baked and decorated to order, and as such, I am unable to offer refunds or exchanges unless the product is of unsatisfactory quality or the wrong item has been collected/delivered.

Please inspect your cake as soon as you receive it to ensure you are satisfied with its condition and presentation. If you are not happy with your order, please contact me immediately and provide as much evidence as possible (such as photographs) so that I can assess the issue and take appropriate action to resolve it.

Please note : while I do accept inspirational photos, these are simply a guide. I do not replicate other cake decorators’ designs exactly. Since every cake is handmade, even if it’s a design I’ve created before, there will always be some  differences in the final product.

 

Refund Policy - Wedding Cake

At CAKED I take  pride in ensuring every wedding cake is baked with the highest quality ingredients and beautifully presented to my customers. I highly  encourage each customer to include as much detail as possible to order details/description (including sample cake pictures) to avoid disappointment on finished decorated look. CAKED will not take responsibility if the finished look is not as expected, if customer has not submitted full description of decoration.

Refund Policy – Cupcakes/Treat Boxes/ Cookies & Tray Bakes

At CAKED, I take great pride in all the products I create. All custom cakes are freshly baked and decorated to order, and as such, I am unable to offer refunds or exchanges unless the product is of unsatisfactory quality or the wrong item has been collected/delivered.

Please inspect your Cupcakes/Treat Boxes/ Cookies & Tray Bakes as soon as you receive it to ensure you are satisfied with its condition and presentation. If you are not happy with your order, please contact me immediately and provide as much evidence as possible (such as photographs) so that I can assess the issue and take appropriate action to resolve it.

Cupcakes/Treat Boxes/ Cookies & Tray Bakes are advised to be consumed on the day of collection. 

If you fail/ unable to collect your order on the date selected. CAKED does not offer exchanges or refund  for uncollected items

 

 

Cancellation Policy- Custom/Wedding Cakes

 If you wish to cancel your Custom/Wedding Cake order, you must send an email to info@caked.ie. please see below the terms for wedding cake orders and custom cake orders.

WEDDING CAKES:

Should you wish to cancel your  order the following terms apply: For wedding cake orders cancelled more than 8 weeks in advance of your date only the booking fee is forfeited. For orders cancelled within 4 weeks, the full balance paid is forfeited. All wedding cakes must be fully prepayed 4 weeks prior to the date of wedding event.

Cancellations must be made by email. As your cake booking and date is reserved for you all booking fees of €100 are non-refundable and non-transferable to an alternative date.

In the event that we are unable to supply your order on the agreed date due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness, accident, injury, bereavement etc., we reserve the right to seek substitute companies to fulfil the order. In the event that a substitute cake designer cannot be arranged we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

 Failure to cancel within this timeframe may result reduced /no refund. This will be at the discretion of management of CAKED.

You must include your order number, collection date, full name & address, custom cake details on the email for us to cancel your order and provide a refund. If you do not provide all of this information we cannot accept your cancellation. CAKED will not accept any cancellations received through social media messages.

 

CANCELLATION - CUSTOM CAKES

Should you wish to cancel your  order the following terms apply: For custom cake orders cancelled more than 4 weeks in advance of your date only the booking fee is forfeited. For orders cancelled within 2 weeks, the full balance paid is forfeited. All custom occasion cakes (excluding wedding cakes)  must be full prepayed 2  weeks prior to collection 

Cancellations must be made by email. As your cake booking and date is reserved for you all booking fees of €50 are non-refundable and non-transferable to an alternative date.

In the event that we are unable to supply your order on the agreed date due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness, accident, injury, bereavement etc., we reserve the right to seek substitute companies to fulfill the order. In the event that a substitute cake designer cannot be arranged we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

Collection Policy Upon ordering, Custom cake bookings will require customers to select a collection date and time. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure collection date and time is fulfilled. Due to high demand for cake collections slots, we may not be able to move slots. Cakes not collected on the allocated day and time customer selected, will not be refunded or be put on in-store credit. CAKED takes no responsibility for damages to cakes once it leaves the collection point. CAKED will not accept any cancellations received through social media messages.

CANCELLATION - SET UPS

Should you wish to cancel your set up order the following terms apply: For orders cancelled more than 8 weeks in advance of your date only the booking fee is forfeited. For orders cancelled within 4 weeks, 50 % the full balance paid is forfeited. For orders cancelled within 2 weeks,  the full balance paid is forfeited. All set up event orders must be fully prepayed 4 weeks prior to the event date. If you wish to cancel your event set up any items or personalised items that have been order on your behalf by CAKED must be paid for and are not refundable. This is a  separate cost to the booking fee.

Gift Card

These Terms and Conditions relate to the purchase of virtual E-Gift cards purchased on www.caked.ie. Buying a Gift Card • E-Gift Cards are virtual products in email format. When buying a Gift Card on CAKED, we will send an email with a printable PDF to the buyer’s chosen email address. We do not take responsibility for incorrect entry of a receiver’s email address, so please make sure your send instructions are correct. If you have any concerns regarding receipt of purchased E-gift card please contact info@caked.ie. • Gift cards are available to purchase in Euro only. • CAKED cannot amend the amount on a gift card once it has been created so please make sure your chosen amount is correct. However you may purchase additional gift cards if you wish to increase your amount. • All gift cards will have an expiry date of 12 months from the date of creation. Redeeming a Gift Card • Gift cards must be redeemed online at CAKED.ie • Gift cards must be redeemed in Euro only and are not valid in any other currency. • Gift cards can be redeemed against any CAKED product excluding Gift Cards. • Gift cards can be used to partially or fully contribute to a CAKED purchase. Outstanding gift card value will remain in the account within which it was originally activated. If the Gift card value does not cover the cart cost, additional payment methods must be used in order to complete the payment. • One or more gift cards can be redeemed against an order. • Gift cards value cannot be transferred to a cash value.

Cancelling a Gift Card order •CAKED cannot cancel, refund or exchange a gift card once it has been gifted.
